I do appreciate your help as it has only been via the prizes this song has won that I have been able to get my album mastered and replicated. And who knows, if I get a bit more I may be able to get a publicist to help me spread the news worldwide and get some exposure for it and the rest of the album .
My album "The Friday Sessions" is now available for order. It has the award winning songs.. 14 of them in all. If you love music the way they don't make it anymore, you will appreciate this album.
If you are a blues/roots/folk lover this will keep you company for many hours always with something new to find in it.
Extra! Extra!
I recently won 2 more awards..."The BillBoard Song Contest US (Blues) and the International Unisong (Blues) plus a finalist in the Australian Gospel Music Awards and the Independent Music Awards.
News Flash!
I was just announced as winner of The International Song Competition ( Blues) Award. This follows on the heels of my national Musicoz Blues award.
I have been singing and writing songs since I was 15. I have had stints performing in Alice Springs, Darwin, Taiwan and Japan. During these years I have shared the stage with some famous Aussie names like Tommy Emmanuel, James Reyne, Renee Geyer and Darryl Braithwaite.
March 2004 saw the release of my first original album, "Touch". Recorded at Melbourne's prestigious Metropolis Studios, it has had some great reviews:
Review Music Australia Guide 2005... singer / songwriter / guitarist Steve Romig finally takes centre stage with his excellent debut release. A singer / musician of Romig's caliber could have taken the easy route on his first journey into sololand, Instead he has shown flair and imagination in his choice of arrangements on fourteen original songs....One of this year's standout debuts heralds the arrival of a talented all-rounder.

Review Mixdown Magazine March 2004
There is not a single thing you could flaw in this recording. It really is a quietly confident and beautifully executed piece of work. Romig has managed to capture some incredible real sounds, especially in the dynamics and tones of his guitar playing. He is undoubtedly a gifted singer and songwriter, and I have to say, tracks like 'Sometimes' have enough to make you close your eyes and reconsider things in your own life. Any piece of music that can do that is testimony to this man's heart.I advise those of you after the kind of music they just do not make anymore to seek him out. You will be rewarded in the listening.~Nick Snelling~
