“Post punk textures and high drama Brit Rock rub shoulders to make for a
brooding and magnificent whole.”

“If you are in need of a bit of punk rock to clear your ears then you should to
see what North London boys Running Riots can do for you.
They are the proper medicine when Bad Religion and Buzzcocks are not
in the building, so get your mohawks up and your Dr Marten's on and enjoy
the ride!”

“Possibly the hardest-working London-based outfit touring the circuit, this
committed and hugely talented five-piece head for the top fueled by bouncy
punk-pop power chords with a hooky Buzzcocks-esque razor's edge and a
rather nifty line in catchy choruses. Running Riots are truly stratospheric.”

REVIEWS
“The first song ‘On The Floor' is a great example of what Running Riots
are all about. It has a raw, pungent emotional energy which is brought
out through great use of vocal harmonies on the chorus and a powerful,
addictive hook. Throughout the set I find myself fondly reminiscing about
my teenage years, and it quickly becomes apparent that this is due to the
power chord heavy, pop-punk undertones in Running Riots' tunes which,
song by song, chorus by chorus, have me thinking I'm 16 again and
listening to bands like Pennywise, NOFX and early Offspring.
I hope to be a good 6 feet deep in the cold cold ground before I stop getting
a kick out of tunes like ‘Losing Streak,' a classic in the making, which has a
chorus that you felt like you've known all your life the first time you hear it,
and has the potential to become a timeless anthem in the vein of Bro Hymn.
Judging by the reaction from the crowd, Running Riots are well worth
stumping up a few quid to see. This band is such an institution in the area,
if you want to know where to catch them next, just ask around in any bar in
Camden, I'm reliably informed that their ‘home turf‘ shows at The Enterprise
near Chalk Farm station can get particularly messy.!”

“The five of them take the stage at 11 o'clock on a Wednesday night and
launch into a barrage of bouncy punk pop. They take a little while to get
going and initially they sound like every other punk wannabe's, but after
about 3 songs in, the levels get sorted and all of a sudden an incredible
wave of chirpy punk pop washes over you.
It's the combination of chugging power cords, the occasional funky bass
line and Jason the energetic front man who bounces along the stage,
rolls around the floor, dances into the crowd and generally makes a
menace of himself.
With the Buzzcocks knack for a catchy hook and taking the playfulness
of Madness ‘Losing Streak' comes on like The Star Spangles, and gets
people leaping about with joyful intent, and it's at these moments where
their strengths seem to lie, as soon as they burst into a fit of energy you
can't help but to join in.
Set closer ‘War' was a robust burst of power and riffing.”
