About Me

""Yorkshiremen turned Londoners with a spritely indie artnik sound...a lofi Franz F maybe with a bit of louche punking singing. I like it. A driving beat , some rasping guitar work underpinned by a second semi acoustic Velvets thrum , nice modulating bass patterns and the aforementioned anti vocal. 'It wont be long'...'We don't have money' have a more strolling laid back feel, but all their songs are hot little items.., a bit Blur, a bit Brian Jonestown Massacre, more than a bit good". Bugbear Promotions ............................................................ ............................................................ "upbeat indie fourpiece with a tendency to shoegaze" The Guardian ............................................................ ............................................................ “Best described as upbeat indie with strong catchy infectious melodies” Plum Music ............................................................ ............................................................ .......Our first gig was at the New Cross Inn (New Cross) in August 2006, we loved it and since then have gigged regularly and mainly around London. The venue’s we have played include the Water Rats (Kings Cross), Buffalo Bar (Higbury and Islington), the Dublin Castle (Camden), Bar Monsta (Camden), Bull and Gate (Kentish Town), Clockwork (Islington), the Barfly (Camden), the Pleasure Unit (Bethnal Green), The Red Room (Piccadilly Circus) and the Betsey Trotwood (Farringdon). Enjoy the songs and get in touch to let us know what you think, email us if you would like a demo, and keep an eye on this page for free downloads.
