What's New
Justin has just finished co-writing Sentience with Avianna Perez for the Collaborative Arts Festival! It went up May 16th at the George St. Playhouse in New Brunswick, NJ.
Also, New Street Poets will be performing at Brown University on August 1st. It's a private performance though, so no tickets for sale at this time. Sorry!!
Justin's also working on a brand new house mix for your summer cruising / beaching / grooving needs!
My Work
Justin has performed at venues throughout the tristate area, including The Bowery Poetry Club, The Aetna Theatre, Rutgers University, Ramapo University, The Crossroads Theatre, The Cabaret Theatre, The Five Points Reading, The Tank NYC, and the Urban Juke Joint, just to mention a few. He has also performed for the NJ NAACP. He is also a member of the Slamchops poetry education program.
Through the combination of theatre, poetry, and modern dance, Justin has helped create five multi-disciplinary productions. Masque, Ungovernable, Consumed, New Street Poets, and now Sentience have featured in theatres large and small throughout NJ, NYC, and CT.
When he's not busy working on spoken word productions, Justin loves to DJ. He has spun at fundraisers for the Hudson Pride Center in Jersey City and Collaborative Arts in New Brunswick. He is also the resident DJ at the Poetic Voices monthly open mic and poetry showcase at the Grassroots Arts Space in Jersey City. DJ rates operate on a sliding scale. If you do good things for the world, chances are, he'll cut you a break. :) Check out his MusicV2 profile here!
Justin is also the New York metropolitan area sales representative for Audio Innovate, a forward-thinking DJ mixer company. AI's latest product is the Innofader, a non-contact, after market, variable capacitance fader that will never crackle or bleed, and requires very little maintenance. It's certified for over 4,000,000 cycles during the most brutal scratch sessions. More information is available at www.innofader.com.
