About Me

Mikumari aka MC has taken the world of Theatre, Hip Hop, and Slam Poetry by storm. Defining himself as the definition of a true MC, Mikumari has set out to prove he is heir to the throne. Originally hailing from Washington, DC, Mikumari graduated from the prestigious Duke Ellington School for the Arts. While majoring in Theatre Arts, acting, Mikumari honed is talent for words in lunchrooms, basements, and street corner ciphers. Mikumari went on to continue and finish his formal education at Mason Gross University @ Rutgers University New Brunswick. Member of ILUMENI, The League Of Extraordinary Artiste, The New Street Poets, SLAM Global Enterprises, Mayhem Poets, and SLAMCHOPS, Mikumari travels nationally and internationally both teaching and sharing his art with most diverse of audiences
