I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hi to everyone out there. My good friend Dorothy told me about this web site and here I am. I have been everything at least once; an actress in commercials, plays, T.V. and a few movies. I was on Young and the Restless, Malcolm and Eddie, blah, blah, blah in the 90's, and modeled. I'm an R.N., and now I am a writer. I think this will stick!! I've always wanted to be one, but I thought that dream was too big for my soul. I was wrong. I published my first book called "Master," and if I say so myself I think it's hot. I will introduce you to a vampire named Alex (who you will love), who has saved a slave from a lynching. He's been in love with her since she was a baby and she says what she thinks and means what she says. Now forget them, back to me (smile). I like to read, listen to people and digest what they're saying, I use their experiences in my stories because everybodys got their own tale. I go hiking, and like to play with strange dogs, and continue to interact with cats who completely ignore me. I dance and go drinking with friends. I like Mexican food (crab enchiladas are amazing), and I like a good movie. I like to do something different everyday, drive down a different street on my way home, or smile at a homeless person, I find that it changes my life. I don't like to go shopping or hang out with negative people who don't seem to realize that they are, (hey it's not my job to tell them). I have started my own publishing company and I love to hang out in L.A. (my home) though I'm originally from St. Louis. Now I'm sure that's more than you ever wanted to know about someone you've never met but hey, you clicked a few buttons and here I am.

My Interests

I like people and enjoy going different places, seeing different things. I haunt museums, plays and movies alot; as well as book readings. I work as a nurse as well, so don't be surprised if you look up in your little hospital gown that doesn't close in the back and I'm there saying, "Hi, I'm Bridget and I'll be your nurse today..."

Words

Music:

I like all kinds of music, literally.

Movies:

The Godfather 1 and 2, (I love the idea of these kind of men, but no thanks), The Color Purple (of course), Lady Sings the Blues (Diana and Billie were amazing, it was way ahead of it's time) Monster's Ball, Kill Bill, Annie Hall, Jackie Brown, Quick Change (Bill Murray is retardedly funny in this!), and anything Robert DeNiro ever thought about being in. Tootsie, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The Thing, Hustle and Flow...I warned you, I'm all over the place.

Television:

Not a big t.v. watcher, I know that's a cliche but it's true. If there's a show I like such as "Curb Your Enthusiasm" or "Sex and the City", I rent the entire season at Blockbuster and take a day or two and watch it.

Books:

All of them!!

Heroes:

Okay say it with me...Oprah, Sidney Poitier, Hillary Clinton, Nelson Mandela, Maya Angelou

If bad things come in three's then how do good things come? In four's, in hours, days, weeks or years? Every second can be this complete and perfect life time. If I can only remember that. It's easier...
