Everything's changing, but nothing ever changes.

About Me

Well, Bios are boring, so let's just get right to it: We’re a band, we make music, and you like our music. Heheh. At least that’s what we’d like to think since you visited our page. Transit Venus is a concept band primarily consisting of little ol’ me, Jean Goode (vocals, synth) and the extremely talented Walter Rafael (guitar, bass, synth, harmonica, vocals). We’re from New York City. Manhattan and The Bronx consecutively...so, as Walter would say “Bronxhattan”. Our average ages make for a pretty young age, and our musical background is that of anyone who always had an interest in music. How’s THAT for an anti-bio! We had the pleasure of collaborating with of a couple of New Yorkers called Glen Ashlee of the Goldenboy Social Club who contributed his genius song-writing skills to a few tracks on the debut and Teddy! of Asteroid Belt who remixed "This Is" and continues to work on yummy musics for the next album. Shout out to Jason Rubal of Seventh Wave Studio for producing the album and being so amazing! Also to the Seventh Wave staff: Mark Bohn, it was GREAT working with you! Sean Hayden and Kristie, we'll be back to bother you guys soon! Shout out to Skyzoo for lacing the remix with his rare lyrical skills. Shout out to the Universe for allowing us to make this project happen. To have talented friends is to have a greenhouse on the roof of your building. Exclusive! *echo and delay* To all of our talentless friends, don’t get jealous. We love you too. Hahah. Jokey joke. No, but really, we love everyone, so please don’t be hesitant to drop us a message or comment. We will read and respond to each and every one! We’ll keep you updated on any of our grand life adventures via bulletins or you can check out the Transit Venus blog on the site (coming soon) to really get insight into our lives. Under “Band Members” to the left, you can click on the images to direct you to all of our individual pages.
Below are some videos. Some will be TV related, some just Walter related. He’s into film and comedy as you will see for yourself. So, watch and enjoy!

My Pointmore blog Vol. 2

Lately, I've been very pensive. I used to really hate people. Not specific people, but the general collective. It tends to happen when you have to work with them, and service them, every day of your l...

Superficial Beauty Gains My Trust.

Over the course of the year, I've noticed more and more how superficial beauty affects everyone's judgement. Beautiful people got it good. Sometimes it doesn't matter if you lack skill, talent, person...
