"You only have to listen to a few seconds of Kristin Diable's 'Sister Sadie' to hear that she sings songs that have roots in the blues, folk, and soul. Just 22, Kristin's been writing her own songs for about six years now. Her songwriting and performing is strong enough to have established her as one of New York City's more promising young artists." - Voice of America Hello, my name is Kristin Diable.
I love you.
And I hope we can celebrate this love of ours by singing and
swinging and dancing together.
I will show you how if you dont know already.
And we'll be in love forever like this.
I believe that you are smarter than the demographic
you fit into assumes you to be. I believe your heart goes deeper than
what the dudes up at clear channel program in for you to hear on the
radio. I believe you have great powers in your fingers and in your
bones. I believe you have a soul and a mind and a heart, and that
those parts of your body are probably sick and tired of being either
entirely overlooked, exploited, or kicked around.
I hope we can shake this whole system up, and rise up hand-in-hand,
free from the muck.
Singing and swinging and dancing.
See you soon friends.
WHO I'D LIKE TO MEET Creators, Film Makers (have all this instrumental stuff and am itching to do some indie soundtrack work), Photographers, Musicians, Writers, Artists, Wayfarers, Do-Good-ers, Magic Makers & General Free Thinkers for synergistic collaborations and good times! (I do not add ANY friend requests that don't send an e-mail first, so please be sure to drop me a line- sorry, the spammers are getting out of control. Also, please don't add me if you just want to leave gigantic banners about your band on my comments page. It's silly.)
