About Me

Visit Easterling Productions at www.easterling.artspan.com.
Welcome to Easterling Productions on myspace. This is only the beginning. I'm from Boston and was also raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I'm relocating to Montreal, Quebec sometime next year. I'm a Production Designer with a background mainly in film and theatre, including set design, props, costume design, and acting. My work experience also includes interior design for restaurants, and mural paintings for Northeastern University. The character concepts are part of an original screenplay currently in production. It is a mythological story set in an ancient era between two young women who discover later in their lives that everything they lived for and believed was a lie told by those they trusted most, in order to protect a disturbing truth about them. The two must fight the various emotions consuming them, while choosing between what is right and what is easy. The paintings under Northeastern University are original designs done in large canvases with acrylic paint exclusively for the school as part of their International Student & Scholar Institute program. Some of them can be found in the photo section, and more at the gallery link above.
All art concepts and story excerpts are Copyright 2007 Easterling Productions. All Rights Reserved.
In the coming weeks I'll be posting new character concepts as well as excerpts of the story as the screenplay becomes more complete. Stay tuned.

I'd like to meet:

"An enigmatic and assiduously reclusive figure, Malick has been referred to as the J.D. Salinger of the movies. Only recently did he choose to return to directing after a twenty-year self-imposed exile from the film world. To date Malick's directing career encompasses a mere 3 films in 27 years. While in no way prolific, Malick exemplifies how narrative cinema has the potential to mesmerise and challenge an audience's perception of reality." - Peter Homden (Contemporary North American Film Directors, 2002)
"Malick is the modern American cinema's great poet-philosopher, whose images, painstakingly perfectionist in their historical accuracy yet imbued with the timelessness of myth, speak of a fascination with - and perhaps, faith in - the transcendent." - Geoff Andrew (The Director's Vision, 1999)
