About Me

Richie Partington http://richiespicks.com
"When I am writing
I am not here
And when I return
I am gone."
-- Pablo Neruda
Northern California vegetarian, environmentalist, Deadhead, children's book reviewer and librarian living with my charming daughter Rosemary along with our dog, Joyful Girl, and a little herd of Nubian dairy goats in the coastal hills of Sebastopol.
I'm really excited about my having being appointed to this year's Caldecott Medal awards committee, being on the ballot for next year's Printz Award committee, and getting to teach at SJSU in the SLIS program.
