Now in its 8th year, having been fittingly conceived in a converted Victorian toilet better known as the Temple of Convenience back in 2000, the night has lurched from venue to venue throughout Manchester, the UK and into Europe since that first rainy Tuesday night, along the way having spawned an offshoot record label (Chips Records), bands (including the ineffable Stazi: ‘Daft Punk meets the Mondays’ - Manchester Evening News), even an 8-piece all-girl dance troupe (Troupe).
