-----------early 30s musician/producer/DJ originally from Detroit moved to
Titahi Bay New Zealand in 2001. now living in tha big smoke (auckland, noozilla) and still digging island vibes (most of the time) but really miss haters, burritos, basketball, q-tips, eazy cheese, twang, delicatessens, isopropyl alcohol, fluff, indoor heating...music is my job and on and off passion- djing, collecting, producing, playing, pontificating, jiggling. lead the recloose live band (what a brilliant name), playing lots of originals and classic jazz disco funk joints. djing is now more fun than ever, playing dusties helps... so far have released 3 full players (2002’s ’Cardiology’, 2005’s ’Hiatus on the Horizon’, and 2007’s ’Backwards and Sideways’ live album). and now the 4th full-length monster is landing momentarily- ’Perfect Timing’.i take myself a little less seriously these days as i’m a proud father
of a beautiful four and a half year old little sidekick and i’m trying to have some fun and do something different with my music at the same time... working on new
joints with new people (check tyna!) and really excited at the chemistry at work. detroit boy gelling with island people= yankiwizm.
