Band Members: WHO the hell are the guys in Bristle?
Tim
(Bass/vox) is a complete mystery. The 'quiet one of the group,he is rarely heard both on and off stage. While contributing musically to all of Bristle's songs,Tim's lyrical contributions to the band come to 4 out of nearly 40 songs. Going against the grain of the angry social/political bent of most of their songs,Tim's quirky little tunes harp on the subjects of the ol' Bristle van, mowing lawns, The Ramones and resistance to the 'weasel-race' of the modern world.
Suffice it to say, that if Tim played guitar, was from England, and had a mustache,he'd be the 'George Harrison' of the group. Moving on.....
Graham
(Drums/Backing vox) puts the beat behind the whole thing. And while most of his best work is done behind the ol' trap kit, thats not all he's good for.Possessing an instinctual knack for old-school
punk tunes,he has helped arrange some of Bristles' more memorable songs. He has also recently taken up lead vocals on a cover of The Big Boys
classic "We're not in it to lose".Formerly a complete drunken/drugged-out fuck-up,Graham is now a pretty mellow guy(sometimes).
Lonny...
What can ya say about Lonny. One of the founding three members, singing lead very shortly after the original singer (Megan) decided to pursue other intrests. Also the sole guitarist, Lonny wrote most of the foundation of all of the songs Bristle does to this day, minus the ones Tim and Graham have written of course. Lonny is the mastermind and driving force behind Bristle, though, he definitely realizes he is simply One of Three parts to this machine. Bristle dont die...
