So this is our virgin project from when we (Mic-sah and J-bloc) were a senior and a junior (respectively) in high school. I'll admit it before anyone else; it's raunchy, cutting edge and offensive to all different types of people (especially caucasians). It started out as just a fun thing, where we'd make a song and have all our friends listen to it. They kept wanting more and more. We gave them what they wanted. Being white rappers, we found this hard to cope with in the later months of the project, due to lack of inspiration/motivation. All around school, we were now referred to only as "Mic-sah" and "J-bloc" or "Mic-sucks" and "Gay-bloc" as the super cool kids called us. After a while, this just got on our nerves. Also, we were moving on to different (and possibly better) things. Rap was gettting tired to us. It was the same subject matter in every song: money, hoes, payin rent, rims, getting sexed up, oatmeal, turkey breast, etc.
So it's safe to say that we are no longer "Mic-sah and J-bloc." We have real names (those which we cannot actually give out due to parents, teachers, principals, concerned citizens possibly finding out), we have real lives that are, yes, reaping the benefits of our successes as rappers, but that also represent new things. Like any artists, we have blossomed and metamorphosized into different, higher-quality musicians. J-bloc is doing his own thing and I, mine. We are happy. Happier than we were as shady rap(e) artists ducking into abandoned buildings, taking shortcuts through alleys to remain safe and on our own territory. We hope you accept our decision. You can still purchase the full length CD for $5 which includes songs, interludes and possibly an 11-minute hidden track (some of the hidden track parts are found on our page: epilepsong). We'll even autograph it if that makes you feel better about it.But anyway. . . you should probably check out J-bloc and my new projects, because, frankly, they are awesome. J-bloc plays drums for a band called 10 Paces, Fire and I, Mic-sah, have my own project called (for now): More Like. . . Micah. They are the top 2 friends on our page. Check em out. Befriend us. Buy our cd. It's simple. Thanks for reading this. Enjoy our very hip rap jingles....Hope you like them as much as we like to play basketball...Love,Mic-sah
