Kalinkaland

Kalinkaland was founded in 2001 by Harald Loewy, who was working at the time as a music producer and mastermind of the wavepop band Chandeen. Harald had been thinking about the idea of setting up a label for a while, and the plan came into focus after he moved to Weimar in 2000. The label grows in number of releases and the last years, Kalinkaland was very busy with albums from the US based band Idaho and wonderful records from Ophelia's Dream, Jo Gabriel, Greenhaus, Elane and Unto Ashes. Recent signings Arcana, Amber Smith, max Min and The Lost Patrol shows that Kalinkaland is a label with an exciting and a strong identity to a wide range of underground music.
