About Me

Born and raised in The Garden State, but don't ask me what exit -- that's corny. I'm a big music fan and love to debate people about what they think is good. Basically, I don't like music that's shoved down my throat by hype machines that only seem to push the generic. Never trust directions from the internet that note an exit ramp in three separate steps. No raw onions or tomatoes please, but I'll eat just about every concoction you can make with them. Boxer briefs 99% of the time, sometimes commando, sometimes just a jock strap (long story, don't ask). Work is dull, but my family and extracurricular passions keep me motivated. I'm a shy leo, but still look for center stage at times. I used to DJ at local NJ clubs, but haven't in a while. check my blogs for setlists, etc... Basically, I'm an all around nice guy and family man. Since I LOVE music, I act as agent for the truly amazing NY/NJ band

The Lost Patrol

Go check them out and befriend them, they are amazing! Better yet, come see them play live sometime. Here's a live video of "Orbit" from The Goldhawk in Hoboken, NJ. The Lost Patrol- Orbit

My Interests

Watching my boy grow up before my eyes...absolutely brilliant, music, tomfoolery, floating on air, surfing the net, chatting on the train platform, skipping the light fandango, ballyhoo and bedbugs, sharing a pint with a few friends and hard liquor with total strangers, and spreading the wondrous music of The Lost Patrol on a global level

Television:

I actually downgraded my cable since it's a huge waste of money. Between reality TV and horrible shows that jack off to celebrity culture which isn't funny or interesting, I want to vomit. That said, I liked 24, Northern Exposure, House, CSI Las Vegas, old reruns of Seinfeld, The Munsters, Young Ones, The Hitchhiker, Saved by the Bell, Ready Set Learn with my son in the mornings, most History Channel stuff, Discovery, TLC, Food Network, PBS, Chappelle's Show, Da Ali G Show, Kids In the Hall, The State (one of MTV's finer moments), Taxi, M*A*S*H, I miss HBO's Not Necessarily the News, etc...

Books:

Who has time to read? Uncle John's Ahh-Inspiring Bathroom Reader and The Big Takeover while in the shitter; Grisham novels when I stay in Cape May. Sound Advice, Beverly Cleary's Henry Huggins books, Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood, Remarque's All Quiet on the Western Front, The Good War by Studs Terkel, and Oh, the Places You'll Go! by Dr. Seuss

Heroes:

This is by far more ridiculous than individuals who don't take adds from bands. Think about it... if you befriend another band and they like your music, that can potentially be 3 or 4 more fans of you...
