i just graduated from CSUN with my BA in Art History and i am looking to hopefully get into a career in production possibly working in the art department........
i have been told on more than one occasion i am just a tad CYNICAL. so i guess if one word would describe me that would be it.
my fears: i am not afraid of the dark, but i am afraid of what is IN the dark, and aliens scare the hell out of me. my dad's whole family lives in roswell, new mexico where he grew up. we go to roswell at least one a year and whenever i come home i have trouble sleeping for a few nights. i never saw monsters in my closet or under my bed, i saw aliens. when i was 6 'Unsolved Mysteries' was on talking about the Roswell Incident and constantly flashing back to the gruesome alien puppets for dramatic effect. my dad decided to speak up and say, "look Shannon, that is where grandma and grandpa live". i am told i screamed for a long time after he said that. so obviously, my scariest movie of all time is Signs. so if there are any alien hunters out there who wanna go on a little hunting trip, i am more than down.

My Interests

music, art, disneyland, horror, Halloween, Pumpkin candles, ghost hunting, absinthe, scandinavian boys, curling up under a blanket with a good book and my dog at my feet.

I'd like to meet:

as for celebs it's Sam Raimi, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Murray, David Cronenberg, David Bowie (Goblin King anyone?), Johnny Depp.... besides that i wanna meet people who are interesting, open and non-judgemental.

Music:

seriously, i like it all, my tastes are always changing. i like music you can find in the top 10 as well as liking music most people have probably never heard of. and i have a soft spot for soundtracks to horror movies like the Exorcist, Nightmare on Elm St, The Amityville Horror and Halloween

Movies:

i love horror movies. old, new, good, bad, it doesnt matter... and besides horror i like all different genres of film. i am always down to be shown movies i have never seen before....a few of my favorites are A Clockwork Orange, Labyrinth, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Sweeney Todd, Cabin Fever, Nowhere...

Scrubs, South Park, Ghost Hunters, CSI, House, The OC, Degrassi (shut up i know you love it too, everyone loves Degrassi), X-Files, 21 Jump Street, Brisco County Jr., Family Guy, Freaks and Geeks

Books:

Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, Clive Barker, Stephen King, books on hauntings/ghosts/paranormal, W. Somerset Maughm, Lewis Carrol, Stephenie Meyer (The Twilight Series)

Heroes:

Spider-man. Definately Spider-man. Oh baby the way he fits so nice into his spidey-suit..... and he is so damn flexible! Anyone that can move like him is my hero!
