Rock'n'roll. Playing music(currently with The Del Toros and Knock Knock). Listening to music. Going to shows. Karaoke. Good conversation. Camping. Nature. Travel. Thinking too much about everything and nothing at all.
Interesting people doing interesting things...
I hate this question! (not that it is a question) Way too much to list but off the top of my head...The Flaming Lips, Archers of Loaf, Hot Snakes, The Thermals, Built to Spill, Dead Moon, Pavement, Clutch, Murder City Devils, Pixies, Babes in Toyland, Modest Mouse, Violent Femmes, Led Zeppelin, Afghan Wigs, Twilight Singers, Nora Jones, Nirvana, Django Reinhardt, Les Savy Fav, Beehive and the Barracudas, King Missle, Dinosaur Jr., Jesus Lizard, Ramones, Captured! By Robots, Idiot Flesh...and on and on...and all the boys jamming every night at Susie's Plantation in Fiji...
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead(without a doubt my favorite of all time), American Movie, Team America(fuck yeah!), Office Space, Donnie Darko, Kill Bill(1 and 2, which is saying alot cuz i hate action movies), Fargo, anything Will Farrel...
Yes, TV sucks, but i'd be a liar if i said i never watched...The O.C.(hey, when i am watching it's a mindless escape...),Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama(RIP, you know i love you Bender!), SNL, South Park, Globe Trekker...
Jonathan Livingston Seagull & Illusions(both Richard Bach and both monumental in making me what i am today...a big thank you to whoever gave me these when i was young and impressionable), Zen and the Art of Motercycle Maintenance(Robert M Pirsig), Crime and Punishment(Fedor Dostoevsky-i thought this would be a difficult read but was not at all and one i could not put down with a very simple but valuable lesson to remember), Naked(David Sedaris-everything i've read so far is good but this was my favorite, perhaps because i read it while cruising through the Caribbean...), I like all Tom Robbins though i haven't read any in years, This Band Could Be Your Life(Michael Azerrad-i love band books, Motley Crue's "the Dirt", David Lee Roth's "Crazy from the Heat",but if you are at all like me, this book is about the music that made our bands what we are today.)
I am my own hero...But that Bender is pretty awesome too...(I kind of have a thing for robots...)
