Pineapple Head

About Me

Pineapple Head are more of a concept than a real-life band. They only ever really come to life when strumming guitars and wearing outsize headphones in a rather damp basement somewhere in the suburbs of Paris, France (unless there's football on, in which case it tends to be in the living room with the telly turned down).

However, they do occasionally come to the surface and appear on stage in the real world, deconstructing each song to its acoustic roots for select audiences of discerning listeners. Don't hold your breath, but more concert news as it comes in.

In the meantime, sit back, relax and let the MySpace streaming audio experience suck you into a world inhabited by slightly distorted guitars, misguided harmonies, and old-fashioned verses and choruses.

Consume, enjoy and spread the word!...

Magical Musical Moment 1/10: Jill Sobule

Jill Sobule The Jig is Up (May 2001)Support acts get a rough deal don't they? But sometimes they do achieve the near-impossible of winning over an audience, leaving them asking for more. That's what...

Magical Musical Moments

Well, this is fun isn't it. Parallel World, the latest old song to be dusted down and re-recorded, should be available soon. Once again I started out hoping it would strike a cord somewhere mid-way be...

Isnt it annoying...

... how the music stops when you click to read a blog post? Well, I'm sure there must be some way around that - or has no-one at MySpace noticed that it's a bit of a pain? Anyhow, That's Just Me has ...
