The Studio
Just a minutes drive from the Trafford Centre, the BigTone studio in Eccles haseverything you need to get top notch sounds. Boasting a large control room designed byacoustic specialist Andrew Parry (Gracieland) for a flat response, your mixes are sureto come out loud and clear. We also have two live rooms giving us the option ofselecting the acoustical space that's right for the job. The 'dead' room is ideal forrecording guitars and vocals, and the 'live' room is best when more room ambience isdesired.

The Producer

Tim has a wealth of experience as an engineer and producer. After picking up a degreein music technology in 2004, Tim rose to fame as a mash-up producer for MTV under thecheeky alias of TimG.

Today, having worked in a number of studios along side the likes of engineers JohnPennington (The Smiths, The Happy Mondays, Moby, Paradise Lost) and Christophe Bride(Hard-fi, Zen Baseballbat) Tim has an arsenal of studio skills and prides himself ongetting quality results every time.

With a history of recordings behind him, Tim not only has the engineering skills butthe artistic and directive abilities to get the best out of musicians and make theirmusic work! Previous clients have seen their recordings give them the step up theyneeded to be noticed, and have gone on to play major festivals and secure record deals.

"...it’s all very nicely recorded, which is no mean feat with a large band playing veryup-tempo music, and the mix really brings out the energy of the performance.." SamInglis - Sound on Sound magazine, review of Catch-it-kebabs- 'Return of theKebabulance'

"Rock Sound has to admit this is flabbergastingly good. Consistent recording of thisquality will not, shall not and cannot go unnoticed for too much longer.” -Rocksound magazine, review of LAP- 'The Ignored effect'BIG ME UP
