About Me

Sonic Syncretic Digital Design is in essence a One-Man Project created by Seasoned Percussionist, Sound Engineer and Graphic Designer, (Alex Smith) to showcase his portfolio to date.
As a Drummer, Alex has worked in almost every style of music, ranging from orchestral, through to jazz/funk, reggae/ska, as far as Rock and Metal! (Currently touring and recording with Ska/Swingers - "Catch-it Kebabs") http://www.catch-it-kebabs.com
This grounding gave Alex an insight in to the workings of the music industry and inspired him at the age 19 to work towards a degree course through sheffield university covering Areas such as Music Production, Studio Engineering, Performance Management, Music Law, Composition, Web and Graphic Design and more. After Completing this Course, Alex has set to building a portfolio of Designs, Websites, Compositions and Mix-Samples to advertise his services.
