My name is Lee Roy. I am 1/2 of the brother sister duo known as The Roys. I’m passionate about our music and think we have a lot to offer the Country Music Fans!! Who are the best fans in the world by the way! I was born in a small industrial town in Massachusetts called Fitchburg. About 50 miles west of Beantown, AKA Boston! When my sister and I were very young, our parents moved back to their homeland of Canada! New Brunswick to be exact. My formative years were spent in a really small but awesome village called Coal Branch. I was around music my whole life! It’s really in my blood!! Early memories are of my Grandma playing the fiddle and my Grandpa doing his step dance! Uncles and Aunts all played something or sang. Mom included!! Though I love the classic country greats like George Jones, Merle Haggard and so on, my first real country bug bite was when I heard the one and only, Mr. Ricky Skaggs!! Man did his music change my whole way of thinking! I couldn’t get enough of “Sweet Temptation”! Which to this day is still one of my all time favorites! I do love all types of music. I’m into mostly country, but I do like to rock it out every now and then :). Today I live in Nashville, TN. Home of the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame. I’m a songwriter and a guitar player! I still have dreams to conquer and places to go! I’m looking to get into producing and will be working with new singer/songwriters soon! I love writing music!! Almost as much as performing! I’ve been very blessed in my career to have 2 top 40 Music Row singles, to have been on the road performing in front of a lot of fans and to be able to say “I’m living my dreams”! I feel I’ve only just begun! Watch out world, here I come and here comes The Roys!!
