At the age of 25, Jacy Dawn has already conquered what most can only dream of in their careers. Starting out singing when she was 6 and then turning to country music when she was 12, Jacy has already opened for performers such as Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Martina McBride, Jamie O’Neal, Carlene Carter, Jo Dee Messina and The Roys. Jacy began performing in church and singing at local sporting and charity events. When she was 16, Jacy was recognized by local politicians, and was asked to perform for the Massachusetts Democratic Convention. She has also performed at other political events including a performance of the National Anthem for President Bill Clinton, a televised performance for the Governor of Massachusetts’ State of the State Address, and a performance at the Manchester Mill City Festival where she sang for the Governor of New Hampshire. Jacy says her favorite moment in her career this far was performing on stage with her idol, Wynonna Judd. Jacy has had the opportunity to sing at many prestigious venues including Madison Square Garden in NYC. In late 2004, the Mayor of Lowell, Massachusetts presented Jacy with a key to the city for all of her accomplishments as a vocalist. Jacy continues to sing for charity events including the National Cancer Society, The Angel Flight Foundation, The Hurricane Katrina Foundation and the Andrew Zabierek Foundation. Jacy is also balancing a career in television along with her busy music career. From 2005 - 2009, she co-hosted "Town Talk" showing on many local networks in Massachusetts and for the summer 2007 season, she was the official field correspondent for the Lowell Spinner’s affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Jacy wrote every song on her debut album "Small Town Heart" which was independently released on November 3rd, 2007. She currently resides in Nashville, TN where she is pursing a career in singing and songwriting!
