Joseph Gauthier, Vincent Moore, and Alexander Lugo came together in 2006 forming 10 Worlds Studio from a common love of comics and desire to break the cycle of "disasterbation" overtaking the industry. "We're all about bringing fun and happy endings back to comics." says founder Joseph Gauthier. "Every hero suffers darkness, but not without light at the end. Even Watchmen, which many hold as the model for this perpetual fundamental darkness heroes are in, had a happy ending. People forget that. You can get dark. You can get crazy. You can send the world to hell in a handbasket. But at the end, comics are about heroes who triumph and inspire others to do the same."
10W’s name is taken from the ten spiritual realms in Buddhism that we experience within ourselves and are then manifested throughout all aspects of our lives. Each of us possesses the potential for all ten, and we shift from one to another at any moment, according to our interaction with the environment.
10W's first book is LAZARUS, the biblical character brought into the modern world as a demon hunter. The first story entitled "Immortal Coils," is a four issue mini-series.
