Tomer was born in October 10th 1994 in Israel. When He was three years old, he started to play the drums in the recording studio of his father. Tomer began playing pop songs at age seven and at eight after playing "with" the piano, Tomer met Ittai Rosenbaom, a well known pianist and piano & music teacher, which paved him the way towards Jazz music. Since then, he has been playing and writing music, proving that the sole is deep within us and the human experience is part of us even at the early ages. Tomer is a pianist, a composer and at his age already a hopeless romantic, affected by films and Hebrew poetry.
Tomer, who is largely inspired by Pat Metheny, Bill Evans and Charlie Parker, has already taken part in many musical frameworks and published his debut album "Memories" which gained outstanding critics and made his premiere at the Israel Festival 2007.
Listening to Tomer Bar is an experience torn between a pleasing mature musical quality and the dumbfounding phenomenon of a child virtuoso, composer and musician.
