About Me

I play the fiddle - Traditional, Cape Breton Style ( this is an old, Scottish, dance style of fiddle music which was brought to Nova Scotia by Scottish immigrants centuries ago.... turn up your sound and listen to some). I am a direct descendant of Robert the Bruce of Scotland on my fathers side. It is no wonder that I have an affinity for this old style, Scottish music. Over the past 20 years, I have played music with some the most talented Celtic musicians in the world. I live in Northern California, and am also a fan of the American "Old West". Also an artist, I have sold my oil paintings in one of the largest art galleries in Northern California. I am contemplative, not social, somewhat of a rebel, not a joiner and way too sentimental. I tend to get bored easily.

My Interests

Playing "Cape Breton Style" Fiddle as much as possible, listening to and/or playing with other Celtic fiddle fanatics, target shooting with my Henry rifle or my 1847 Colt Walker .44 revolver playing fiddle some more, Northern Califonia Wines, Tennis, watching a good sunset, poker, a fire in the fireplace, oil painting, reading about the old west, taking a drive or watching a good movie.
