About Me

Species
The Centretown Wilderness Club (CWC) musicians are indigenous to the Ottawa area. Originally located in Centretown, their locale has now expanded to include Mechanicsville, the Market, Ottawa South and Overbrook. They congregate regularly in Overbrook but have been sighted as far North as Wakefield communing with Black Sheep and as far south as the Glebe, communing with pints. They sing, cajole, complain, console, tell tall tales, write, record and perform.
Evolution
The CWC evolved out of the remains of the Halfmilers who had wandered off in search of new adventures and endeavors. The new sound is less electric, just as electrifying.
Sound
Sounds like winter, country, crunchy fallen leaves, rock, New Brunswick, house cats, warm socks, reverb, electrical wires, overdue breakups, ghosts, lost religion, ruminations, roots, routes, black Ontario nights.
