About Me

"solid and experienced performer with the aching voice of Tweedy and Big Star"
- giraffecycle.com With earnest arrangements and thought provoking lyrics, Clinton Charlton is a songwriter in the classic sense of the word. As the former frontman for Saint John alt.country rockers, The Carousels, Clinton earned a reputation as a talented and varied writer and captivating performer.
2006 saw the release of Clinton’s debut solo EP entitled "These Stars We See..." which will be followed by his first full length this spring. Charlton has also recorded a six song EP with friend and collaborator Tracey Lavigne that will be released this May on Sandbar Music.
Clinton will be a featured performer at this year’s Loyalist City Folk Festival.
