MÀRCIO TUBINO combines his Brasilian roots with Jazz and other influences to achieve a very personal mix of composed and improvised music. MARTIN KAELBERER, originally a jazz pianist, has for several years now been searching for a universal path to music by the use of rather unconventional instruments. What happens when two experienced musicians like these, endowed with a profound understanding of melody and structure, are confronted with a miscellany of instruments and just starting playing without the slightest directive? Not even a key is agreed upon. The two protagonists rely entirely on intuition, the magic of the moment and musical communication with each other. Here, the finding of happiness, the genesis of joy, is an active process largely determined by a positive and undaunted attitude in synch with a high standard of professionalism and the necessary resources.
