Solis is interested in music and illustration. He illustrates books, advertisements, book – jackets and comics. He’s active in percussion music among other kinds. He worked under Michalis Klapakis and Lefteris Grigoriou. He’s taken part in groups including Magiko Hali, Theros, Dingo, Lyraulos and worked with musicians including Michalis Nikoloudis, Ross Daly, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Alkis Kaloumenos, Vangelis Fampos, Claudia Delmer, Panagiotis Stefos,Kristi Stassinopoulou Band , Nena Venetsanou , Vassilis Rakopoulos and others.. He has also worked with dancers and actors,as Alessandra Mayoletti (choreographer).He is also envolved in story telling presentations with Melina Karakosta and,now,with Mania Maratou.
He's particular work is called " Krousti Paramythia",which means "Percussive Consolation".
He is also a didgeridoo player.He loves and plays frame drums,darbuka,djembe,berimbaw,udu,talking drums,balafon,jew's harps and many kinds of miscelaneous instruments.
