I am a soprano vocalist currently studying classical singing. My love of classical singing was ignited by Tarja Turunen, the glorious mezzo-soprano that rose to fame with Finnish metal band Nightwish, when I picked up a copy of Once, which was their last opus featuring her. I was impressed, but the album that sealed my decision to pursue singing was Wishmaster (although Turunen no longer works with Nightwish, I often practice to her solo album My Winter Storm.)
When I'm at the point that I feel my voice is refined enough to make my own music, I will seek to either join an existing band or, alternatively, start my own. If that doesn't work out... hell, I'm fine with going solo, too.
I am looking for modeling, acting, and music video work so if you are interested in having me work with or for you please let me know.
In addition to music, I'm in the process of writing a few Astrology books that combine Eastern (Chinese, the animal years) Astrology and Western ("regular") Astrology and also Numerology. I'm also co-authoring and revising yet another Astrologically/Numerologically-related book with my mother.
I'm very inspired by metaphysics, spirituality, and all things esoteric. Things too big for people to really comprehend in all their glory.
For my fellow Astrology enthusiasts... my Sun Sign is Sagittarius, Moon Sign is Sagittarius, Ascendant is Taurus, Descendant is Scorpio, my Venus is Capricorn, and my Mars is in Scorpio. My Eastern birth year is the Earth Snake. And lastly, in numerology, I'm a lifepath 3.
I'm in the process of building an actual website for myself, completely independent from my MySpace page here, but it has not yet been published to the internet. I will have the link to it first thing when it's done!
In my free time I draw/paint, sing, collage, bring my beloved Nikon out for some photography, read, work on my books, travel (although not as much as I'd like to these days), study languages, archery, kickboxing, bellydance, act, and... well, I have a pretty long list of things I like do. I'm teaching myself to play a few different instruments, I'm working on art and music degrees in college... I like to stay busy! :) I'm not big on sports but, as I mentioned before, I love archery.
I'm a free spirit and a nomad - a true Sagittarius. I'm at my ultimate happiest when I'm on-the-go and traveling. Preferably with friends.
