About Me

Carriage are a musical collective welcome any vocalist/spitter/screamer or instrumentalist who wants to play with a band but can't be arsed to put one together, the opportunity to do so. This is a free service done out of love for music, (or indeed any excuse to drink, smoke and jam with new people). We are comitted to playing original material to anybody who will listen.Founder members Si (keys+other bits), Nik(Bass) and Mik(Lead) have been playing together for years with the other permanent member Steve(drums) joining a little later. The wider Carriage membership changes with the seasons. More recently Carriage have been playing with MC Simon(the Grappler) Gladman and the lovely Sarah Saville who are both destined for greater things. Meanwhile, we shall remain to pass on our wisdom to any who want it! You should create your own !

You are now marked on my profile visitor map!Well we sort of take on board the influences of whoever is playing with us at the time!Si(Aliensi) Just a music whore. Doesn't care what genre- where it's been or what nasty infections it may be carrying as long as it's delivered with passion and total self belief. Adores musical eccentricity in any form. Earliest gig memories:- going to punk gigs every week in Brighton in 1977-8(Piranahs, Peter and the Test Tube Babies, Stiff Little Fingers etc etc). This week he is mostly loving anything with a quirky alt country/folky flavour, psychadelic rock...oh and Melt Banana. Also any artistic people who create beautiful things out of love such as our friends below.
