LOOKIN TO JAM SOME SHOWS, BOOK US!!!!!
We been in the studio right now recordin some brand new ones and some old ones at Innertube Studios. These songs will be on the LR 98' to 08' Best Of-full length that will be releasing here in the near future along with the re-issues of the 04'-05' and 06' albums.
AJ To Misery and B Wo thru together a last minute show in our hometown. It was LR's first show in a long while here and our debuting @ the Legendarey xPLANET OF THE APESx now the ATTACK SHACK w/ THE CODE, LEVEL SD, and ANOTHER DEAD HERO! For like a 4 day notice and about 50 er so heads, we wanted to thank our hometown crewz, peeps and friends for commin!! It went over quite well! Other than people tryin to just see LR and wantin to get in for free and people sayin they ain't payin and leavin. Matter a fact DON'T BOTHER COMMIN TO ANOTHER SHOW IF YOU AIN'T THERE TO SUPPORT THE BANDS AND PAYIN A FEW BUCKS!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD!!
Our old webmaster Bob R. got LACKING RESTRAINT.COM back online, unfortunately the last time he backed it up was from 2005! So hopefully sometime here soon will be fully redoin/updatein it!!! Look out for that soon!
We have been rockin out as Lacking Restraint 10 years! Started listening to underground/punk/hardcore music and messing around with musical instruments around the late 80's and early ta mid 90's. Been involved with the Pittsburgh music scene some 10 years er so now, basicly the pioneers which help build the foundation for the epic centers of the quake for our area, by throwin dozens upon dozens of shows about 20 to 25 minutes north of the Burgh! Rockin more and more towards the 100 show marker and covering lots of tunes in that time that molded us to who we are today such us Pennywise, Bad Religion, Operation Ivy, 88 Fingers Louie, Value Pac, the Misfits, Five Iron Frenzy, Slick Shoes, Anti-Flag, Strife to name a few. Havein grown up with all the extreme sports, skateboarding, snowboarding, aggressive bladers, bmx bikers, dirtbikes, etc... Which led us to be involved with all types of underground music in general.
Over the last few years we have been blessed and very fortunate on being highly involved in one of the biggest musical movements. Us along with tons of our friends and our friends bands have done so much for the Pittsburgh/Worldwide scenes its totally and truely unbelievable! So make sure you come out and support the shows goin on, on the real, get involved!
Very, very, very humbled, LR is all about UNITY, promoting underground music to the fullest, collaboration, bein for real, sticking to your roots no matter what the consequences are, stayin TRUE, havin RESPECT for yourself and others, chillin out you know, and most of all having oNe love for your family and friends!
