Revolution Reviews was created in August 2007 by Adam Jones with the idea of helping out regional bands to find more of a fan base. Jumping on board in January 2008 was Nick Magoc, a close friend and awesome business partner.
Starting off, things were slow for Revolution Reviews. But after 2 months, Adam buckled down and went to work. Helping out bands such as The High & Never Say Forever. With Nick on board, things began to move rather quickly and in the right direction. The two had the oppurtunity to sit down and interview Jazzam, Pittsburgh's premier Jazz/Jam/Funk band. This was a huge step for Revolution Reviews, and the future is wide open.
Revolution Reviews has and always will be free to the bands and artists whom would like a leg up on the other bands out there. We are more music fans than anything, and that is all music. We do not, and we never will not help out a band because of the type of music they play. We love it all, from Jazz and Hip Hop to Rock and Raggae. From Funk to Punk, we will help everyone out.
Our future endeavors include releasing a sampler CD of bands we have reviewed. Possibly having our own website, and in the future, if things continue to progress, we hope to have a magazine out for subscription. These are all just hopes, so please do not send as a message asking how to sign up for the magazine, asking what the web address for our page is, or asking if your band could be on the sampler CD. We will let everyone know where we stand on the 3 endeavors.
The Revolution has begun.
