NEW TOUR NEWS!THE QUEERS... The greatest second wave three chord pop-punk band in all the land is still going strong! The Queers ARE NOW headlining the Asian Man Records tour, which will take them all over the US in May and June before stopping off in Baltimore for a prime spot in this year's Insubordination Fest! check out the tour dates.....
THE PINK SPIDERS!! Tarantella: (n) An ancient folk dance, associated with characteristically frenetic music. The music and dance, legend has it, were used to cure disease from the bite of a poisonous spider. While the music was played louder and louder, faster and faster… the spider bite's victim would find themselves in a frenzy of motion, emotion and perspiration… driving the poison from their body. Well folks, Nashville's THE PINK SPIDERS are the poison AND the cure! First they bite you with their infectious pop hooks… dizziness, giddiness and general rock-fueled insanity may occur. STEVE E NIX & THE CUTE LEPERS After finishing up a US tour with Horrorpops and the Pink Spiders, The Cute Lepers just inked a deal with Blackheart Records (as in JOAN JETT's Blackhearts) and will be releasing a new album this June! Pounding out an infectious blend of punk, mod, pop and Motown with an ever-revolving and ever-evolving lineup of cheerleaders, dancers, hand-clappers, tambourine shakers, backup singers and guest musicians, The Cute Lepers are one of THE bands to watch in 2008! check out their West Coast CD Release tour....
THE HUMPERS Long before The Hives, long before the White Stripes... There were THE HUMPERS. And they're back to reclaim the garage rockn roll throne they used to reside in for so long. Yes, THE HUMPERS are back and they've joined forces with Devil Dolls booking! The squares will be padlocking their doors and hiding their daughters, their first born sons and their booze, while those in the know will be out in force to celebrate THE HUMPERS return with raised glasses and whiskey goggles on tight. Watch for a series of gigs all throughout 2008! Rock and fucking rooooooooooooll! THROW RAG ... Ahoy you scurvy rockers! Just when you were starting to wonder what the hell happened to....Throw Rag are set to release "TEE TOT" on Acetate Records in June following a A West Coast tour then the boys will be co-headlining the Dirty Devil Tour this September along with Lower Class Brats, The Disasters, The Heart Attacks and Viva Hate! THE HEART ATTACKS... Atlanta's punk rock glam agitators, The Heart Attacks dropped one of the rawest, dirtiest rock debuts in recent memory with "Hellbound & Heartless" (Hellcat Records).
