About Me


Those Furious Flames is a band from Ticino, the southern part of Switzerland. It was born at the end of 2003, when 5 motherfuckers with a big passion for punknroll met and decided to form a new band. A soon as they (Yari Copt vox, G.B. bass, Pat lead guitar, Joe Napoli rhythm guitar, Big Boss drums) began to play some music, what they all had in their minds became clear: they wanted their real rockers attitude – turned on by sex, drugs and rock’n’roll – to grow wilder… even wilder and then EXPLODE! Those who have seen them live will be able to tell ya what bastards they are. They’ve all been playing music for many years, and had experiences in different local bands.In 2004 after having spent a more few months togheter they released their debut album on Nextpunk Records: “She’s great”. The album received positive reviews and it allowed the band to do quite a number of gigs during the next years.In 2005 the singer Yari spent several months fighting against cancer and the band had to cut down on the live shows while he was being cured. After about a year Yari finally got healthy and the band was back on track.During 2007 the band retreated for some time so as to be able to give birth to the second album, which is definitely more rock’n’roll than the first one.They found a new record label and distribution in the swiss 808 Records and Leechredda.“Hot hot baby rock” is to be released at the end of may 2008.Those Furious Flames are now ready to rumble and let the world speak about them.
