The memories are almost gone, but it must have been in summer 2005...at that time we sat together in a bar in a small town in northwest germany near to the border of the netherlands, clinked glasses with beer and shooters on a good time and got into this idea, which ist fullfilled now: bands, concerts, livemusic and photos.
The name we gave us for that project is not only a selfminded artword , but a special spelling for a medical term, too. When light falls into the eye, it comes together where we see most clearly and in focus. This area is called "fovea centralis". You will get into it why we write it with "ph" in the beginning ;-)
We are convinced, that this name discribes in a perfect way, what we want to do with phovea.de: interesting photos of exceptionally bands as good as possible, and that, by the way, with the good old analog technology and not with that modern digital shit. And maybe you will find some concertreviews on phovea.de, too, if we find some time for that. We try hard.
And, last but not least, we decided to put only the best pictures of every single concert on phovea.de, so that you will get no quantaty, but nice quality - we hope.
