LIVICATION This music and record is livicated in ever loving memory of SIMON MURDEN who died in a fatal shooting. His memory remains fresh on our minds as the angel who stopped by to pick up this message from Africa and pass it on to the world. Simon lives on with the revelation and fulfilment of prophecy that reggae music brings from Africa to the U.K and now The World.Wutaband is a project born during short time together as session men in Tanga Studios at Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region of Ghana. This record was originally a demo to be re-recorded in a bigger studio some other time. the studios were however shut down after only a few months of operation putting the project on hold for a while. While recording" The gateway" at Tanga Studios Kuma and Ras Simba (Umojah i Stars) discussed at length the possibility of releasing the demo in U.K. A few months later, Simon Murden passed through ghana and picked up the tape which he delivered to Ras Simba who in turn gave it to Colliss for mastering.This demo is the formative stage of roots rock reggae germinating from a remote corner of ghana west africa in the 21st centry.
