Its organic, electronic and it's deep character leads to easy flow access to all who relate to One Love and enjoy good music.Agape's live show during the Winter Music Conference 2004 was reviewed and listed in "Favorite live performances " by Bounce FM (N.Y.C.,) resulting in an invitation to perform at the prestigious "Movement" -Detroit's Electronic Music Festival. They played a concert series along with other noted performers such as Masters-At-Work and Amp Fiddler. Later on in the summer, the group performed at the highly acclaimed Jaguar X-Type concert series, which involved talents like Zero-7 and Miguel Mugs, opening up for London-based virtuoso soul singer Shaun Escoffery at the Delano. More recently Agape has also opened up for Federico Aubele of Thievery Corporation (Rhythm Foundation) and Brazilian Girls to the delight and very critical acclaim of the media, critics and peers. Agape live shows have a tradition of being dynamic as they are consistently pushing the boundary by incorporating video, actors and dance troops into their live show.The band's first release came in the form of a licensing of 3 songs in 2005 as part of a non commercial compilation and television show featuring some of the world's most influential new artists in electronic music titled "Sony/Ericsson Lounge."The first official release "Peace = Solution" is scheduled is scheduled on Dec 12, 06 on Sustainable Recordings and will be available on-line through Itunes and all major and digital distribution hubs. The vinyl E.P and CD E.P is scheduled for the beginning of 07 and the full Album in March 07.This released is timed with the release of their video "Peace = Solution". This video has been causing quite a stir due to its subject matter. It features a spontaneous street party were people of all ethnicities and religions come together in celebration of our humanity and in the name of brotherhood and peace. The video climaxes to a scene where an Arab muslim and a Hasidic Jew confront each other and challenge each other in a dance battle they end up hugging and kissing to the delight of a blissful crowd. The video was shot in Miami during the Art Basel festivities and was directed by Erick Paredes. Agape has also recently returned from a series of performances in Brazil that include "Reveillon 2007" Rio De Janeiro. An event that is listed by several international magazines and the Miami Herald among the 10 top destinations and places to be in the world for New Years Eve 2007. Agape's vision is simple, to unite and inspire universal peace, sustainability and harmony through music.
