Feel free to comment! -------------------------------------- Did most of my growing up in a small town in mountains of south central PA. I have been all around the world but the Appalachian mountains are still the most beautiful place I have been. I grew up the youngest with 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Daddy was an ex-Marine and Momma was a saint. They raised us to look to JESUS day to day. When I left home at 17 I joined the Navy and did 4 years there as a rebel/drinker. Took a while to recover from all of that but survived. Joined the Navy again in CA to do it right this time. I ended up getting cancer and was released early. I had some miraculous things happen then and GOD showed me that HE still does mighty works in us if we let him. I am married 15 years now with 3 great kids and enjoy being a dad. I started writing poetic lyrics a couple years ago and was inspired by many friends on my other page to put some melody to the words. So I am going to give it a shot. I am primarily interested in writing but am a closet singer and maybe I should stay there.
