My human says that I have extra toes because I am extra special. I love her dearly, but she is a simpleton. My polydactyl state comes not so much from my being "special" as she puts it, but from a dominant mutant gene inherited from my mother, who was also polydactyl. So, I AM quite special, but that is not why I have extra toes.
