My favorite toy is my mandolin. I love funny, spontaneous people. I love to laugh. And live music. And Mexican food...or anything spicy.
Peaves: slow drivers in the left lane. And courtroom TV shows. And 1800SafeAuto commercials.
I never pay at those parking lots where you're supposed to stuff the money in. I hate soul patches. I hurt my finger playing football. I love to travel. I've been to 9 other countries. I lived in Germany when I was little. I can beat you at Scrabble. I love photography, especially developing my own stuff. I don't have cable. I can hula-hoop longer than you. I'm not proud of that. I myspace at work. That's right; myspace is also a verb. My grandmother's favorite song is still "Achy Breaky Heart".
Oh, and if your Top 8 consists of pics of a bunch of thonged asses, um...please don't bother with a friend request. Also, I'm not real into adding bands with a bazillion friends. But you can always send me an add to my music page.
I don't think this "about me" has conveyed the fact that I consider myself an optimistic person. And I'm super-sweet. Not in a doormat kinda way. I just love to love. And I hate hating. Loves me some Haterade tho!

My Interests

photography...the dark room in particular, crocheting, planting flowers and hoping they don't die, consipiracy theories, writing songs, craving bacon, playing guitar, making margaritas, sudoku, living in the moment, shoes that don't hurt my feet, photoshopping ridiculousness in jan's blog, yoga, missing Keeks, hearing live music, playing bocce, supporting the folks at Nashville Standup, Sparks, a good movie, and making casseroles...how lame...

It annoys me when people say "i hate the tv. it kills brain cells." That is true. But you know you watch it. You just hate the fact that you do. :) That said, I am obsessed with LOST, and I don't have cable. So it's pretty much Jeopardy and The Office. And documentaries...even boring ones, sadly. If I had cable, I'd watch Adult Swim and reruns of Kids In The Hall. And Man vs. Wild...mmmm.

Books:

I would read more if it burned calories. But I like suspense novels as well as stupid, cheezy girly books that my friends make me read. If you give me your favorite book and tell me that I HAVE to read it then I will. And I will most likely love it. I do like The Color Purple, Catcher in the Rye, and The Dark Tower series. And the first book to make me cry was Where the Red Fern Grows in sixth grade. Right now I'm in a Frank McCourt phase. The Secret is my favorite bathroom literature. I have a lot of down time at work, and I like to read books on readeasily.com when I feel like I've myspaced too much...
