Mastering every aspect possible to dj’ing.2005Bernies with the Revibelists. Drastic is approached by one of Columbus’s busiest Dj’s. Dj Self, about taking over the local hip hop night @ Bernies Distillery. A long running night that was run but the now disbanded Fonosluts 5 years running. The hip hop night was started by Dj Self and Dj Przm (rip) of the crew Spitball. Drastic and Self held down bernies hip hop night for 2 ½ years . Four turntable 2 dj’s live mixes. Every Sunday. Which has produced @ lease 10 days of live recordings. Bringing in such groups as Tame One, Slow Suicide Stimulus, Radix, Copywrite, Camu Tao, Bruce Wayne, and a plethora of local talents. The revibelists had the sound but needed a voice with it. Drastic calls upon Sean Banks (radio icon and hip hop historian) to be the voice of the Revibelists.2006Now out grown the spot the Revibelists turn there energy’s to a new venue. With more space and bigger sound! Oldfields on High. Still bringing the realness with the music in a more party atmosphere. The Revibelists continue to dominate the mix dj game with style, selection, and skill. Dj Drastic Competed and placed 2nd in the Columbus DMC regional dj Battle. Surprize opening for Kool Keith a 2nd time. Write ups in. the Columbus Monthly magazine, Columbus C Magazine, Now its Dark, Columbus Alive weekly.2007 Without putting out music for passed 3 years Drastic ‘s next album is slated for late 2007 early 2008. Taking over the extravagant Bar of Modern Art nightclub (BOMA) among Columbus best Dj’s.Clubs: Skully’s, Club 7, lil Brothers, the Grog shop (Cleveland), Rumba café’, Boma, oldfiels on 4th, oldfields on high, park street tavern,Bands: Jamnesia, Charles Cooper Quartet.2008Groove Shack Documentary/ ReunionThe Big Budget Green light lit. the early 90’s Columbus ohio record store the Groove Shack has produced some of the FINEST hip hop artist to come out of Columbus. Rjd2, Copywrite, Camu tao, Jakki da Motamouth, and Drastic. The former stores owner Marty Jones is the brains behind the film. Interviewing the artist and witnesses to the golden years Columbus hip hop base. Drastic will play a big role in the documentary being @ the Groove Shack from start to finish as a customer to employee and house dj.
