About Me
I, Wilskinit a.k.a. Lazy "G.", am back at it again. Puttin' the world on it's ear with my signature D.O.A.P Music. Reppin' out of Broward County, Florida (Fort Lickadale), and bringing a whole new phlava 2 the game. Not your average-everyday emcee by a long shot but a true spitter. My flow and delivery is unmatched by any, barring none!!Back in the day you could've found me at Howard University performing at clubs in the D.C. area. I represented in a couple of the annual hip-hop conferences (The Cultural Initiative), performing with hip-hops A-list names; (I ain't da 1 2 name drop) but hell Public Enemy, KRS-1, Rakim, Leaders Of the New School, A Tribe called Quest, De La Soul, The Notorious B.I.G, 2Pac, Ice Cube as well as many others. At the time, I attracted attention from several A&R's in the area. Lil' while after that, I hooked up with now long-time comrade, Kenny Flyy, and featured on his debut album, "My God." I also worked and performed with local groups like S.O.P soon after that. Moving back and forth from D.C. 2 da Fort, in 1999 I dropped the underground classic, "One Time 4 Your Mind," on my independent label, Po-Man Entertainment. Through the success of it, was invited to perform on the Lyricist Lounge tour with the likes of Xzibit, Rah Digga, Choclair and others. As a true-music lover, I craved a lil' sum'n different than what a lot of "hip-hop" artists had 2 offer, so I made it, guaranteed not 2 disappoint!! Working with the production of DJ Nuttin Nice for Nuttin' Nice Music, Doc Love for 1881 Music, as well as production of my own for D.O.A.P Music makes for a unique sound at all times. Feel the effects of the F.T.L's Wilskinit experience, understand how I'm riding in the 'Dale and look out for the forthcoming album South Flow Rider to be released later this year!! OH YEAH! PO-MAN!
