I am distilled from fermented molasses I was first available to the public in 1980 but was available to the British Navy before that. My home is in Tortola BVI. My name is nothing more than a corruption of the word Purser by the sailors after the officer responsible for the daily issue of rum - thus the name Pusser's Rum. It may be a little overstated and while I have a cork my true taste is somewhat of a cross between heavy oak, rubbing alcohol and extremely sweet cane sugar. REAL RUM HAS A CORK!
