With each waking moment our goal is to bring others together, and not focus on what sets us apart. The Beautiful Decay, out of Lancaster, Ohio is a new name and face to hit this town. Four great friends, getting ready to take on the world plus the will and desire to succeed, are the core of this train heading down the tracks of where this world is taking us. It all started with a spark, Plague playing guitar on a cold sleepless night. This wasn't unusual at all, but what he played was. It was like nothing he had ever heard before, yet it was so familiar. He began writing. It was fast, slow, happy, and sad all at the same time. This was a new force to be introduced to the world. Thus "The Ode" was written. Now to carefully choose who to share this with. Being pretty much his brother Plague showed this to G(aw)D (Kanden). They wanted to start a band that had this sound, and we did. Kanden got behind the kit and flourished with this song. Gex came into the band after Kanden and Plague had heard him play guitar, he was impressive enough to have us ask him to be in the band. Tw1tch was a friend Plague met through his music classes at HC. He attended a practice without the intention of joining the band during some recent complications, and the rest of the band was stricken by the power he held in his voice. The Beautiful Decay has come to be.
