Sophist Flame is a band from Lancaster, Ohio with influences ranging from AFI to Avenged Sevenfold and Lamb of God. The current lineup started in early March and outside of a very few select songs, we play only originals, which we have plenty of, lol. We are currently working on get people to notice us if you have heard us before you may know what we are all about, ROCKING OUT AND HAVING FUN DOING IT!! We are just four friends with a passion for what we do. We are very crazy at times and if you have the chance to meet any one of us (that will probably happen) you will see that we are just cool guys wanting to have a little fun and meet some new people! Our songs consist of screaming lyrics, heavy guitar riffs, melodic choruses, and quick drum beats. The songs have a way to relate to many aspects of life. These include but are not limited to: Relationships, Friendships, Hard Times and Religion. We started out as a christian metal band but then there came conficts with the lyrics and our lives and what is actually going on. We also decided that the way we put our message out there would be a little difficult for secular groups to understand.
