THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !i promise ill pop up a cpl of my more recent recordings up on this myspace page soon so they can be heard here also.again, THANK YOU guys.BIO STUFF ? here it is. (dont fall asleep)Christopher Lee cut his teeth in the early 90's with the legendary NW. metal band "The Kill " serving as the bands primary songwriter and lead guitarist. after the demise of this pet project, chris went on to expand his interests into other areas of musical adventure, including winning several local and national " hottest guitar " competitions , touring as a lead guitarist with some of the portland / seattle area's more popular metal acts of the middle to late 90's , to come to his present day work as one of the northwests most often recorded guitarists in his current role as a studio musician, working primarily in the advertising markets.chris' playing can be heard daily on local, and in some cases , nation-wide on rock radio station's commercial ads and on various recordings for portland / seattle area musicians in a variety of genres.never being one to sit still , chris continues to write and record original music as the whim strikes him, having several recordings in rotation on internet / college radio stations and both teaching AND continuing to learn the art of the guitar , having many regular students and himself studying currently with none other than "outworld" shred-master Rusty Cooley.keep it metal

Sounds Like:one of the ideas behind my instrumental work is to try and approach the genre from a different angle, rather than just trying to showcase guitar shredding, i am writing METAL tracks. building solid structures that focus more on the tempo’s, grooves and heavy rhythm work that have always made metal what it is and why metal fans love it as much as i do, the violent shredding comes second, but you do know its coming. i want the listener to feel like they have just heard a good song when they hear my instrumental work, not just a good guitar player. give it a listen and tell me what you think.
