Ava Cowan FAME Tropical

This past weekend at the Ava Cowan FAME Tropical was just amazing! This being my first event, I really didn't know what to expect. There was a moderate athlete turnout but I couldn't help but think of just how many more competitors there would be next year. I now know so much more about promoting an event, so I will be pounding the pavement here in South Florida, promoting throughout the year.
From what I have heard so far everyone had a blast, and felt very good in regards to the outcome of the show. A good reputation is paramount so I am hoping the news will travel in the area. The venue was simply amazing so I will be using the same auditorium again next May.
The best part of the show was the audience participation. They were serving beer at the snack bar so people were having more fun than I am sure they expected to have. People made signs and were screaming for their friends or family members. The Fitness Model Open Winner, Jessica Uffens, has 4 children, and her husband had some cool signs. One read, "This Chick Has 4 Kids!" It was great to see.
Next May, I plan on hosting the Ava Cowan FAME Tropical again, and look forward to this being an annual event. This gives all of you plenty of time to set those long term fitness goals. Making the decision to step on stage will forever change your life.
