I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Hi, My name is Barbara and my mother was Flora Elmassian (Mason),and her mother Rebecca(whose mother's name was Yazidjian-born in Yerevan)Rebecca born in Malatya, married to George Elmassian in USA, both came from Armenia. They lived in Fresno,CA.and raised their children there. My Cousin George Mason started the first Armenian newspaper in Fresno which still exists. There will be a newspaper clip in his memory added soon. My sister, Janice and cousin Sandra will be pulling together the family tree and with the rest of our family we should be able to do some amazing things perhaps if not just spread wonderful memories:)If you don't have time...just sit back and enjoy, but we would love your comments at least from time to time. I just heard from my cousin Ronnie Englishian(English) who wants to be a part of this. Let's do it! There will be many vintage photos and a family tree. We are hoping to add as much from the family to this as possible. Don't be surprised if your photo pops up! I have photos of Armenian family members and people that I don't even know. So...if you know who they are, please clue me in! We welcome others from all over to share any information, photos, stories and interests with us. Everyone is welcome:) We look forward to meeting many of our friends here and new ones. My daughter Mara will assist anyone who needs help in creating a myspace account and will even create a layout for you if you just can't figure it out. It's free!:) Just click on Mara's picture and send her an email there. You don't have to be in myspace to do that. Love to all, Barbara.. -- Copied from MySpace.com -- Find me on MySpace and be my friend! Layout made by Sweetpea49

My Interests

Life in general,People,Relationships,Spreading Peace,Love and Harmony even if it means shaking things up a bit. We all need to stick together, the whole world of brothers and sisters because history tends to repeat itself when we don't. It always has... so....the time has come to do something different. Hope to find some cousins from the George Elmassian family tree here and maybe some from Grandma's side. I know Grandma's sister Veron moved to France and had several Sons and I believe she married Zartarian. Then there was Jaspar Gasparian or Gasparyan my grandmothers first husband who was murdered before the full blown Genocide. Looking for another cousin who was a pen pal in the 60's by the name of Eugene Kazarian. Aunt Helen Cooper (Elmassian) used to go visit there a lot. please look at our family tree blog posted. Thanks. Barbara
